01. Scope of delivery

This policy applies to physical reading accessories ordered from Clarke the Reader Inc. through clarkethereader.com. Delivery availability depends on the destinations and shipping methods enabled in checkout. Enter your complete address to see the options that apply to your order.

We do not advertise delivery to every destination, free shipping, next-day delivery or a guaranteed arrival time unless a specific offer or checkout option expressly provides it. If no method is available for an address, contact us before purchasing rather than assuming a delivery arrangement exists.

02. Charges and the final order total

Applicable shipping charges are shown at checkout before payment is completed. They can vary by destination, parcel requirements, carrier service and the products ordered. A price displayed beside a product is not by itself a statement that delivery charges are included.

Any valid shipping promotion should identify its conditions, dates and exclusions. Where taxes or other charges apply, they are included in the checkout total as configured. If an international destination is offered, any customs or import responsibilities should be clearly explained before purchase; they should not be inferred from this general policy.

03. Order processing and shipment timing

After an order is placed, payment, availability and delivery information may need to be checked before dispatch. Business days refer to ordinary working days, excluding relevant holidays. Processing time and carrier transit time are separate stages.

Any stated shipment commitment will be based on the item and fulfillment arrangement for that order. If no shipment timing is stated, we will comply with applicable requirements for shipment or provide the required notice and cancellation option. We do not publish an invented routine dispatch period without a reasonable basis.

04. Estimated arrival and carrier service

An estimated arrival date is an estimate unless expressly offered as a guarantee. Carrier transit can be affected by weather, traffic, service interruptions, holidays or an incomplete address. We will not use a general “estimate” statement to disregard a specific shipment obligation.

Choose an available service that suits the order and review any delivery restrictions before payment. A carrier may require access to a building, a signature or another step for a particular service. If those conditions are known, they should be included in the relevant delivery information.

05. Shipment delays and cancellation

If we learn that an order cannot be shipped within the stated time, we will communicate the delay and the available choice to wait or cancel as required by applicable law. A revised date will be stated when a reasonable estimate can be made. We will not assume consent to every indefinite delay.

If the order cannot be fulfilled, or a required consent to further delay is not obtained, the unfulfilled order will be canceled and refunded as required. You may contact us about an unshipped order at any time. Delay notices are sent using the contact information supplied with the order, so an accurate email address is important.

06. Tracking and order communication

When a trackable service is used, tracking information should be provided after shipment. A tracking number can be created before the parcel receives its first carrier scan, and carrier information can take time to update. The first scan, estimated arrival and delivery scan may represent different stages.

If tracking has not changed for an unusual period or the parcel appears to be moving to the wrong location, contact us with the order number. We will review the fulfillment record and, where appropriate, work with the carrier. Please avoid sending sensitive financial details in a tracking inquiry.

07. Address accuracy and changes

Provide the recipient name, street address, unit or apartment number where relevant, city, postal code and any necessary delivery instructions. Review the address before submitting payment. An address change can only be made if the order’s fulfillment stage permits it.

If an incorrect address leads to a return or attempted redelivery, reasonable additional delivery costs may apply where appropriate and legally permitted. We will explain the available options and costs. An address-error clause does not excuse a mistake made by the seller or eliminate the need to investigate the circumstances.

08. Marked delivered, missing or damaged parcels

If tracking says delivered but you cannot find the parcel, check the usual delivery location, any building reception area and safe-place instructions, then contact us. Provide the order number and the issue. A delivery scan is not treated as an automatic final answer to a credible non-delivery report.

For damage, keep the item and packaging, take photographs where possible and stop using anything that appears unsafe. We will review whether a replacement, refund, carrier inquiry or other remedy is appropriate. See the Returns & Refunds Policy for damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied items.

09. Multiple items and returned parcels

An order with more than one item may be shipped in separate parcels where the fulfillment arrangement requires it. If this occurs, the customer should receive clear information about the items and available tracking. A partial shipment does not automatically count as fulfillment of every item in an order.

If a parcel is returned because delivery could not be completed, we will review the reason and contact the customer about the next step. Any reshipment fee, cancellation deduction or refund decision must be explained and remain consistent with the order terms and applicable law.

10. Contact and updates

Use care@clarkethereader.com for a question about dispatch, tracking, a missing parcel or an address change. Include your order number and a concise explanation. The company address below is a contact address and is not automatically a parcel collection point or authorized return location.

The policy applicable to an existing order is the version offered at purchase, subject to mandatory legal requirements. Future changes will be identified by an updated date. A product inquiry or demonstration form confirmation is not an order placement or shipping confirmation.
